Overview of Liquid Nitrogen Planetary Ball Mill
Liquid nitrogen planetary ball mill is a kind of special grinding ball mill, which is designed to load the ball mill jars under the environment with the heat preservation cover, and input liquid nitrogen gas into the grinding space continuously to absorb the heat generated by high-speed rotating of the ball mill jars, so that the ball mill jars loaded with materials and balls are always kept in a certain low temperature environment. It is a necessary device for fine powder grinding, mixing, small sample preparation, new product development and small batch production of high-technology materials. Working Principle
The liquid nitrogen planetary ball mill features four working stations on a single turntable. As the turntable rotates, the jars execute high-speed planetary motion. This action subjects the grinding balls and materials inside to intense impact and friction, resulting in their eventual refinement into fine powder.This versatile equipment supports both dry and wet grinding methods, accommodating a wide range of materials. It is capable of achieving a final powder size as small as 0.1 μm (micrometers), reaching into the nanoscale range.
